Memo: Visit of the EU-Troika to US and Canada

On 2-3.4.01, the European Commissioner for the Environment, Margot Wallström, went to Washington as part of the EU-Troika to meet with representatives of the US Administration for talks on the American position on climate change and the future of the Kyoto agreement. Ms. Wallström travelled together with the Swedish Environment Minister Kjell Larsson representing the Swedish Presidency, and a representative of the future Belgium Presidency. On 4.4.01, Ms. Wallström continued her visit to Canada for meetings with Canadian government representatives.
