Memo: The Group of policy advisers to the Commission (GOPA) sets up Group of Economic Policy Analysis (GEPA) with top European Economists

The Group of Policy Advisers (Gopa) which has the task to provide informed and impartial advice to the President of the European Commission and the Commissioners on all aspects related to the future policy of the European Union set up three external advisory groups involving highly qualified members from the economic, political and social areas. Their mission was to present and discuss the different options with regard to specific European Union policies, bringing together persons from academia and civil society in general and top level officials from the European Commission.
