Memo: Telecoms Council, Brussels, 31 March 2009

The Council of EU Telecoms Ministers will meet in Brussels on 31 March, 2009. The EU Telecoms Ministers will adopt conclusions on achieving an accessible information society, as well as discuss how communications technologies can boost the EU's economy. Ministers will also share information on the European 112 Day and the use of ICT for energy efficiency. The Commission will be represented at the Council by Viviane Reding, EU Telecoms Commissioner.
