On 29 November 2007, the European Commission approved an operational programme for Valencia in Spain for the period 2007-2013. This operational programme comes under the 'Regional competitiveness and employment' objective and has a total budget of some €2.2 billion. The financing provided by the Community through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) totals around €1.3 billion, representing some 3.8% of total EU investment in Spain under the cohesion policy 2007-2013. |
