Memo: Joint Statement by the Spokespersons of High Representative/Vice President Catherine Ashton and Commissioner Štefan Füle on the unanimous adoption of an amendment to Georgia’s Constitution

The Spokespersons of Catherine Ashton, High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice President of the Commission, and Štefan Füle, Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighbourhood Policy, made a statement on 26 March 2013 concerning the Georgian Parliament's adoption of a constitutional amendment, which confirms the role of the democratically-elected parliament in approving the appointment of a new government.
