Memo: Informal Ministerial meeting (France): Employment & Social Affairs

An informal meeting of Employment and Social Affairs Ministers will take place on 11 July in Chantilly, France. As is customary, the meeting will be preceded by a separate meeting of the Troika with Social Partners and the Social Platform on 10 July. Meetings will be chaired by Mr. Xavier Bertrand, French Minister of Labour, Social Affairs, Family and Solidarity. The European Commission will be represented by Vladimír Špidla, Commissioner for Employment, Social Affairs and Equal Opportunities. Both meetings will focus on the Renewed Social Agenda.
