Memo: France – Operational Programme 2007-2013: French Guiana

On 29 November 2007, the European Commission approved an Operational Programme for French Guiana for the period 2007-2013.

This operational programme comes under the ‘Convergence' Objective and has a total budget of around EUR 644 million. The financing provided by the Community via the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) is around EUR 305 million (including EUR 48.3 million under the specific allocation 'additional costs' arising from the region's remoteness and other disadvantages), representing some 2.1% of total EU investment in France in the context of the 2007-2013 cohesion policy.
