The visit of Chris Patten, EU Commissioner for External Relations, will be the first by a European Commissioner to Belgrade since 1998, and the first since the return of democracy to Serbia and the election of President Vojislav Kostunica. The visit will focus on the package being put together by the European Commission to help Serbia through the coming winter. |
