Catherine Ashton, High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the Commission, met with Abu-Bakr Al Qirbi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Yemen, on 2 February 2011. During their meeting, they discussed the situation in Yemen and the spread of street demonstrations across the Arab world.
