Memo: Academic Symposium ‘Economic, Social and Cultural Rights of the Palestinian Refugees: Present and Future’

This year, UNRWA (the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East), commemorated its 60th anniversary. Established in 1949 by UN General Assembly resolution, UNRWA provides basic social services to 4.6 million Palestine refugees. On this occasion, a series of events were held in Brussels, including a conference to discuss the 'Economic, Social and Cultural Rights of Palestine Refugees: Present and Future' which took place on 29 and 30 June at the Egmont Palace in Brussels.
