Meeting: Education, Youth, Culture and Sports Council, 23-24 November 2015

A meeting of the Education, Youth, Culture and Sports Council took place on 23-24 November 2015, in Brussels. The following topics were discussed:

+ Integration of recently arrived migrants and people of migrant background;

+ Youth policy and migration;

+ Amendments to the work plan for culture (2015-2018) to reinforce priority on intercultural dialogue;

+ Work Plan for Youth (2016-2018)

+ Adoption of the 2015 report on the implementation of the strategic framework for European cooperation in education and training (ET2020).

+ Debate on how to tackle destruction and trafficking of culture heritage in conflict areas

+ Revision of the 2011 resolution on the representation of EU member states in the foundation board of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA).
