Medvedev promises aid for economy

President Dmitry Medvedev of Russia assured a meeting of the country’s business leaders in the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs on the 15 September 2008, that the domestic economy was stable and financial markets would get all the liquidity they needed from the central bank as the stock market fell a further 4.6 per cent.
