McGuinness MEP: ‘The high cost of poor cardiovascular health is enormous’

Mairead McGuinness, an Irish member of the European Parliament, told in an interview with EurActiv in July 2015 tha the cost of poor cardiovascular health was 'enormous' and that the European Union should better coordinate research on cardivascular disease and take action on industrial trans fatty acids.
