The success of the Community trade mark and design systems has meant significant increases in the volume of registrations handled by the Office for Harmonisation in the Internal Market (OHIM). The Office is doing more, but it is also committed to maintaining quality standards. This year will see a new quality management system (QMS) being rolled out in all departments, and a change in emphasis on how quality issues are dealt with.
