Mandelson: UKIP reduces Britishness to a caricature

The former EU Trade Commissioner Peter Mandelson, who is also part of UK's Labour Party, argued that there is a huge difference in economic value, influence and return in being inside the EU or merely alongside it and forces in UK politics such as UKIP were reducing British interests to national identity and that identity to a caricature of Britishness.

His position was shared during the launch of a report published by the Centre for European Reform.
