Mandelson: Developing countries have nothing to gain from abandoning Doha – and plenty to lose, May 2006

EU Trade Commissioner Peter Mandelson has strongly defended the value of the Doha Round of WTO trade negotiations for developing countries. In an open letter to critics of the Round he strongly rejects the suggestion that the Round offers so little for developing countries that they should contemplate abandoning the talks altogether.
