Europe’s ageing population, growing labour shortages, skills gaps in key sectors and increased mobility are making the global ‘war for talent’ a daily reality, intensifying the Europe-wide debate on the need for more active migrant integration policies. But those most integral to the process - the people who employ them - are often left out of the policy discussions. This Working Paper considers what role employers can play in integrating migrant workers and identifies five basic tools for developing a comprehensive and effective integration strategy. |
