The OECD launched its 2013 edition of 'Education at a Glance' in Brussels on the 25 June 2013.

EurActiv reported that the study showed that Europe's unemployment crisis had had the worst impact on people who failed to complete secondary school education, regardless of age.

The jobs gap between well-educated young people and those who left school early had continued to widen during the crisis. A good education was the best insurance against a lack of work experience.

Education at a Glance: OECD Indicators is an authoritative source for accurate and relevant information on the state of education around the world. It provides data on the structure, finances, and performance of education systems in more than 40 countries, including OECD members and G20 partners.
