Kosovo-Macedonia ‘trade war’ becomes political

The trade dispute between Pristina and Skopje escalated as Kosovo imposed a total embargo on imports of Macedonian products on 9 September 2013 in retaliation for restrictions on some of its exports. It is threatening to escalate into a full-blown political confrontation and the European Commission is investigating.
