Joint Statement on the Roadmap Agreement for Sudan

On the 8 August 2016, a joint statement was released by the occasion of signing the Roadmap Agreement by the Justice and Equality Movement, the Sudan Liberation Movement-Minni Minnawi, the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement-North (SPLM-N), and the National Umma Party. The purpose of the agreement is to end conflicts in Sudan in order to move towards a process of dialogue as a basis for lasting peace in the country.
