Joint Proposal for a Council Regulation repealing Regulation (EC) No 1763/2004 imposing certain restrictive measures in support of effective implementation of the mandate of the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY)

Council Regulation (EC) No 1763/2004 imposing certain restrictive measures in support of effective implementation of the mandate of the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) freezes the assets of certain individuals in support of the ICTY mandate. It gives effect to Council Decision 2010/603/CFSP.

In September 2011, the Council adopted a Decision repealing Council Decision 2010/603/CFSP. The Commission therefore proposes that the Council should repeal Council Regulation (EC) No 1763/2004 with immediate effect.
