Joint press release on the launch of the EU-Australia leadership forum

On the 8 September 2016, the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy/Vice President of the European Commission, Federica Mogherini, and Australian Minister for Foreign Affairs, the Hon. Julie Bishop MP, launched the EU Australia Leadership Forum. The Forum will provide a platform for the leaders and seniors from the fields of business, media, non-governmental organisations, civil society, think tanks, politics and academia from both countries. The aim is to promote and deepen the relationship between the European Union and Australia.
