Joined Cases C-189/02 P, C-202/02 P, C-205/02 P to C-208102 P and C-213/02 P, Dansk Rorindustri and others v. Commission, are discussed. The European Court of Justice's judgment in the case annotated in this article, Dansk Rorindustri and others v. Commission concerns many different grounds of appeal from each of seven appellants. This article will focus on the Court's assessment of the most interesting grounds of appeal, namely: 1. breach of the principle of the protection of legitimate expectations, 2 breach of the principle of non-retroactivity; and 3. pleas of illegality relating to DG Competition's fining Guidelines.
