Italy and Libya accused of abuse

Italy and Libya have been accused by Human Rights Watch (HRW) of abusing the human rights of African migrants trying to enter the EU. Bill Frelick, director of the Refugee Policy Program, was quoted as saying 'The European Union is working with Libya to block these people from reaching Europe rather than helping them to get the protection they need'.
