Isolation pushing Abkhazia into Russia’s arms

Report of a FT interview with Sergey Bagapsh, the President of Abkhazia, July 2009. He urged the west to recognise the independence of Abkhazia arguing that it will never again submit to Georgia and that international isolation could push it further into the arms of Russia.
