The Sub-Committee was set up to consider Ireland’s future in the European Union in light of the Lisbon referendum result. On 18 November 2008, presentations were made to the Sub-Committee by Declan Ganley of Libertas, Professor Richard Sinnott, Professor Farrel Corcoran and a delegation from the Institute of International and European Affairs.
