On 21 November 2008, at its final meeting, presentations were made to the Sub-Committee by representatives of several organisations that campaigned against the Treaty of Lisbon, including Joe Higgins, Socialist Party leader; Patricia McKenna, former Green Party MEP; Anthony Coughlan, President of the European Foundation for Democracy; and Roger Cole of the Peace and Neutrality Alliance.
