Ireland’s future approach to EU policy: Discussion

The Sub-Committee, which was set up to consider Ireland’s future in the European Union in light of the Lisbon referendum result, on 11 November 2008, held discussions with Helga Schmid, director of Policy Unit of the General Secretariat of the Council of the European Union, on the Common Foreign and Security Policy (CFSP) and the European Security and Defence Policy (ESDP).
