Foreign companies made a record number of investments in Ireland in 2011, creating 13,000 new jobs and helping the economy to return to growth after three years of recession. The Irish state investment agency IDA Ireland said on the 5 January 2012 that the pipeline of new projects for 2012 was 'encouraging' but warned that the eurozone debt crisis was causing some multinational companies to defer or delay investments. |
