This study, carried out jointly by the Office for Harmonisation in the Internal Market (OHIM) and the European Patent Office (EPO) was launched in Brussels on 30 September 2013. It is the first to quantify the overall contribution made by intellectual property rights intensive industries to the EU economy, in terms of output, employment, wages and trade.
