Information security: A new challenge for the EU

This Chaillot Paper explains the security risks that modern information systems incur, and the various attempts of the European Union and its member states to cope with these risks. To conclude, the authors suggest how the different national and EU approaches might be brought together into a common European Infosec policy, and what the focus of such a policy should be.
