Informal meeting of Ministers for Competitiveness, 20-21 July 2015

An informal meeting of the Competitiveness ministers of the European Union took place in Luxembourg on 20-21 July 2015. The meeting focused on the following topics:

+ The European Union as a global competitor;

+ Conduct of research;

+ Equal opportunities in research.

Note: Each Council presidency organises informal meetings of ministers to discuss initiatives related to a particular topic. These meetings occur as an informal complement to the official Council meetings organised by the Council of the European Union and chaired by the Council presidency.
