Two British officials who rushed to Brussels for a recent meeting of the beef management committee have been struck down by mad community disease. Food poisoning was diagnosed when tummy bugs struck and naturally thoughts turned to the in-flight menu.

Could it have been? Would it have been? No, apparently not: airlines on the Brussels-London route have removed beef from their list of delicacies, just in case.
