This study aims to illustrate the views of the social partners and organised civil society on: the policies that are put in place at national level to help young people find work, including their implementation and their actual impact; the good practices or difficulties encountered in the Member States; their involvement on policies for youth employment and ongoing reforms. This exercise gives national stakeholders an opportunity to put forward their comments and recommendations on youth employment policies, providing for an opportunity for mutual learning and better understanding of the functioning of national systems. The six Member States have been chosen in view of their specific situation in the field of youth policy, taking into consideration the unemployment and NEETs (Not in Employment, Education or Training) rates, but also other specific challenges (e.g. long-term unemployment, Roma inclusion) and based on the information available, and on discussions with representatives from EESC, Commission and permanent representations to the EU
