This Statistics in Focus introduces some of the main characteristics of ICT usage in the tourism accommodation sector. This analysis is carried out at European level (EU-25 and other European countries) and based on information from the Community surveys on ICT usage in enterprises and on ICT usage in households. It focuses in particular on Internet access, Websites and homepages, the use of IT systems and market monitoring. It also describes the main characteristics of the Internet users of travel and accommodation services. |
