Iceland jails ex-Landsbanki boss for role in 2008 crisis

An Icelandic court found former Landsbanki boss Sigurjon Arnason guilty of market manipulation in the lead up to the 2008 financial crisis. Mr Arnason was sentenced to 12 months in prison, nine of which were suspended.

The former chief executives of Iceland's two other big banks, Glitnir and Kaupthing, had already received jail sentences.
