The formal coming into force of a ceasefire at midnight on 15 February 2015, in accordance with the agreement negotiated on 12 February 2015 in Minsk, did not stop the fighting in the east of Ukraine. Neither of the parties to the conflict considered the ceasefire as permanent, and each was blaming the other for its violation. |
