Guernsey says UK retailers seeking to exploit a tax loophole to sell VAT-free CDs and DVDs will not be allowed to establish their businesses on the island. Retailers were given a year's notice on 27 February 2006 to leave Jersey where many companies such as Tesco, Amazon and Woolworths have made use of controversial tax relief allowing tax-free imports of goods valued at less than £18.
