Growth of aviation sector ‘poses threat to climate change targets’

A report commissioned by campaign group Friends of the Earth argues that the growth in the aviation sector could negate the reductions in greenhouse gas emissions made by other sectors of the economy. The research was carried out by the Tyndall Centre, a climate change research body.
