Global Migration: The Challenges for the West’s Political Leaders

This is a transcript of an event held on 15 November 2011 at Chatham House, London, in conjunction with the (UK) All-Party Parliamentary Group on Migration and the Migrants’ Rights Network.

The event brought together experts from government, civil society and academia to explore the policy dilemmas raised by global migration. The speakers discussed effective responses to the challenges, and opportunities, that are presented by cross-border movements of people and labour.
