Germany’s president lashes out at bankers

Report of comments by German President Horst Kohler at a conference in Frankfurt, 21 November 2008. He said that bankers should stop pointing the finger at others and acknowledge their part in the financial crisis, in some of his harshest criticism of the behaviour that contributed to global market turmoil during the autumn of 2008.
