Article reports that an astonishing rebound in industrial fortunes in Germany, Europe’s largest economy, was countering gloom about growth prospects in continental Europe and other parts of the world during mid-2010. German industrial orders rose 2.8% in April 2010 compared with the previous month and were almost 30% higher than a year before.

While seen as positive some analysts did not expect the upswing to continue at the same pace in the following months.
