German regulator attacks EBA stress tests

Germany’s senior bank regulator, Jochen Sanio, head of BaFin, criticised in June 2011 the European Banking Authority for its conduct of the 2011 bank stress tests, accusing it of acting without legitimacy in setting controversial rules that define bank capital.
