German growth expected to reach 2.4% / German upswing expected to last for 18 months

Germany's strong economic upswing is set to last at least another 18 months, with economic growth of 2.4 per cent expected both in the second half of 2007 and in 2008, Germany's five top economic think-tanks predicted 19 April 2007.
