Germany’s employers are preparing to sue the German government, June 2008, to force it to lower the payroll taxes that make the country’s workers among the most expensive in the world to hire. Dieter Hundt, head of the BDA employers’ federation, said that the BDA would file the suit with the constitutional court in Karlsruhe by the end of August 2008 if there was no decision by the government to cut social security contributions.
