General Report on the Activities of the European Union in 2014

The General Report is published every year by the European Commission, and gives an account of the EU's major initiatives and achievements throughout the year.

The text is divided into 6 chapters:

* Towards economic, fiscal and banking union
* Towards economic recovery, growth and jobs
* Towards a Europe of citizens, rights, justice and security
* Towards a stronger role for the EU in the world
* The European institutions and bodies at work
