Summary:

A meeting of the General Affairs Council (GAC) was held on 18 November 2022. The agenda included the following items:

• Discussion on the annotated draft agenda of the upcoming European Council summit;
• Hearing concerning the respect for EU values in Hungary, in the framework of the Article 7(1) TEU procedure;

• Briefing on the state of play on the follow-up to the Conference on the Future of Europe;
• Adoption of general approach on draft Regulation on cybersecurity at the EU institutions, bodies, offices and agencies;
• Adoption of Decisions concerning the opening of negotiations with Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and Serbia for agreements on Frontex cooperation.
