Gas pipeline deal sidelines original Nabucco project

EurActiv reported that Turkey and Azerbaijan signed an agreement to build the Trans-Anatolia Gas Pipeline (TANAP) on the 27 June 2012, a move welcomed by the European Commission as a major step towards completing the Southern Gas Corridor project.
