Galileo's security requirements have to be guaranteed, says the European Parliament's Industry Committee in amending the European Commission's proposal on the deployment and commercial operation of the satellite radionavigation system. The Committee insists on a revenue-sharing mechanism to ensure 'high quality services at fair prices'. The European GNSS Supervisory Authority should be abolished, while the various work packages should be subject to competitive procurement procedures. |
