The article reports that the United Kingdom is to slash funding for scholarships to the College of Europe, the training ground for Eurocrats, in a move that could leave fewer Britons in a position to influence policy-making in Brussels, according to critics. Subsequently, the UK government announced on the 4 March 2010 that funding for UK graduates wishing to study at the College of Europe would be reinstated.
